Pathfinders – Monday 9th July 2007

Pathfinders night: Dave assessed three of the lads from the two star course and they passed – well done.

The rest of us headed up to Abingdon Weir to find two playable gates open at quite a high level. The one on the right (looking upstream) was by far the best of the two, but, to be honest they were both quite unpleasant. As a well known boater might be heard to say “It’s not as good as Hurley”.

I guess all the summer Hurley sessions have spoilt me this year.
