Month: July 2007

South Wales – 21st and 22nd July 2007

Well what if all this unseasonal water around and stories of summer creek boating hitting the internet, how could I say no to the offer of a lift and free accommodation? Pathfinders – Monday 9th July 2007

Pathfinders night: Dave assessed three of the lads from the two star course and they passed – well done. The rest of us headed up to Abingdon Weir to find two playable gates open at quite a high level. The one on the right (looking upstream) was by far the best of the two, but, […]

Hurley – 7th July 2007

Unbelievable, three gates, blue skies, does life get any better? I can’t think of a session this good for a long time. It was so good I managed to turn a quick blast into three hours before being forced to go home for dinner! Pictures here: http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/simon.knox/Hurley7thJuly2007

Hurley – 4th July 2007

Pathfinders – Monday 2nd July 2007

Helped Vicki out with her two star course. We seem to have an enthusiastic bunch on this course at the moment which makes a nice change. Lots of stroke and rescue practice.
